I saw this as I was browsing, and thought I'd give it a try as the pearls are much more expensive, and tea bags are less hassle, especially when traveling. It's a nice, mild green tea, but I just don't taste the jasmine.

Years ago I drank a black tea with jasmine notes so when those kind of teas seemed to disappear from the market and I found ROT jasmine with a green base I was happy to try it, but I thought it would probably be too overtly floral. Lucky me —it was not! I find I actually prefer the taste to that of black tea. It's especially good to have in the evenings as a nice change from herbal or matcha. One has to be careful not to let it sit too long or it will be bitter, though.

However, this is my absolute favorite go-to tea now after getting a sample sip in the mail. This is what I drink in the afternoon when I need a liittle kick of caffeine and a nice, bright tea to drink. The jasmine flavor is soft and doesn't taste perfume-y the way others I have tried do. This tastes really, really good. I cannot recommend this tea highly enough!

I've had a couple before from other brands and they were not nearly as good as this one is. It has quickly become my favorite morning tea, and I can thank TRoT's free samples for introducing me to this one as otherwise I probably would have never tried it. It has a light floral flavor, but not like you're drinking an air freshener. And even if sometimes I end up using water a little too hot for a green tea I've never had it go bitter on me (unless I accidentally forget it it in the cup for a half hour which I don't recommend for any tea btw). Overall, spectacular. Would recommend.

Sad to say, but in comparison, this was a bit of a disappointment. I really cannot detect the jasmine flavor and the tea was a slightly bitter even when steeped for only a minute. I think I will have to scrimp and save for another bulk bag of Jasmine Pearls.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I've drank green tea for a long time, on and off. I've been drinking black tea for a year or so, and found that it was triggering my bloating. I had a tin of this Jasmine green tea I had not finished, and have been drinking this from morning to evening for a few weeks now. I use only one tea bag for one day; no need to go through several a day. I keep my tea steeped throughout the morning (while drinking it) and pour the rest into a thermos, pour some more hot water, and drink it throughout the day. It has alleviated my bloating significantly and makes me feel "lighter" since it does send you to the restroom! Say goodbye to water retention :) if you want an extra "detox" effect, drink a cup of coffee (no sugar, I use oat milk but almond milk is good too) before drinking a cup of green tea. I've lost about 10 pounds so far (gone from 129 to 121) since I do a teeny bit of exercise throughout the day (run in place, 100 steps worth). Try to not do this on hard surfaces such as concrete in the long run because you WILL mess up your ankle/knees as I have done recently. If you are limited to concrete surfaces, wear some thick socks or shoes/slippers and do this. I do about 1,000 of these "run-in-place" exercises throughout the day. Combined with the green tea, it helps with digestion. The tea makes it so that you won't be as hungry when it's time to eat. I fast lunches on weekends since I don't feel hungry at all. I really appreciate that this green tea is very affordable, please NEVER stop making these!

It either catches my throat or is too bitter to swallow without grimacing. I brew it correctly, but I don't have time to use full leaves. Yes, I have tried several from ROT. After getting a sample of Jasmine Green I read through some reviews before I tried it, and someone said it was the green tea for people who don't like green tea. This proved to be the case for me as well. It just seems smoother and my olfactory senses are so overtaken with the floral aroma that I don't really mind the (lack of) taste (rooibos is my go-to). I am glad to finally have a canister staying in my tea rotation so I can reap some health benefits.

This is a very delicate tea with a heavenly fragrance and taste. Because it's a green tea it's lighter than my usual black tea, therfore to get a robust flavor in my big mug, I've cut it to 2/3.
