Besides rooibos, I do love strawberries so I was happy to see it being offered by the Republic. It's a good blend of rooisbos and strawberry flavors. I recommend it and I will definitely be ordering it again.

I use 3 tea bags and I let it seep for almost 10 minutes, and it still isn't as strong as I'd like it to be. I do try to enhance the flavor with some Stevia and milk; which works to an extent, but still doesn't give it what I would like. The flavor is still quite delicious though, and I LOVE the smell of it.

So I'm really very strict on how I'm rating the herbal teas I'm purchasing. This tea is good but I was expecting it to taste like I'm drinking strawberry shortcake. I like that I can't taste the tang of the rooibos in this tea, it has a very gentle flavor that is easily overpowered when paired with a dessert. I like to drink this tea solo in the evening as a little treat so it doesn't get covered up by the strong flavors of desserts or food. It's relaxing, smells great, and very tasty.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars First a bit of context: My Dad was a pipe smoker and enjoyed the less common blends some of which were exquisite. One particular flavour was called "Raven's Blend" and it smelled absolutely wonderful. When I first got the sample of this tea the first taste reminded me of the aroma of that tobacco. I am a non-smoker and usually am repelled by all such aromas but to get a hint of my old Dad's pipe made me smile. I might have just written the worst review but if something has ever reminded you of a loved one whose passed, like a grandmother's lilac perfume or an uncle's mint and lime beard oil that makes you nostalgic and a bit weepy then this is mine. My sisters both started to tear up when I gave them this tea. It is now one of my go-to flavours.

It is a lightly flavored and scented tea, but I don't think it taste like its name. It does smell pretty good but don't expect it to have a strong strawberry flavor that you're used to when you get the actual cake.

First, I'd like to say the samples I got were great -- I'm not sure if it's coincidence or if they were selected on purpose, but my purchase was exclusively herbal tea and the samples were as well. I'm trying to avoid caffeine so I appreciate samples I can actually try. While the strawberry does smell a bit artificial, it still made my mouth water (literally) when I opened the packet. This is a nice tea and I'm glad I had a chance to try it!

I got excited thinking how I have my first strawberry growing in my garden and this would help me resist the urge to pluck it early and eat it. When I got to sip it i was pretty disappointed. The rooibos is too prominent. I'm just not a fan. Not to mention the zero strawberry flavor. Hopefully i find a rooibos i do like but i have to keep looking.

This is a very flavorful tea if you brew it according to the directions. I have other tea brands (gasp!) and they can be brewed with 8oz. Anyway, I am sorry to have liked this one because now it's ANOTHER area that I may "need" 😂.

I'm not sure why the strawberry was a challenge - the blueberry lavender beauty tea I bought at the same time bursts with blueberry flavor. Maybe the brew needs a review?

This tea really brings the flavor of juicy strawberries if you follow the brewing instructions closely. When I wasn't initially wowed by this tea, I got out my trusty Pyrex measuring cup, filled it to the 6 ounce line, and poured it into the mug I was using. It turns out the average mug holds way more than 6 oz. Duh, right?! Use two tea bags and steep the full 7 min. for good flavor, and don't skimp on the sweetener. A touch of half & half makes this taste just like strawberries & cream. Thank you, RoT, for making this yummy tea and for your blog entry on common brewing mistakes. It really helped!

The flavor appealed to me right away because whereas I don't love sweets like candy and cakes I have found that I do love the lighter sweetness of flavored teas. However, it didn't have many reviews so I almost didn't get it. That would've been a tragedy! I noticed a reviewer said the flavor is too light. If I'm really looking for a rich taste then I add 2 teabags and it is very flavorful. I don't do that all the time but if I really felt like a strawberry milkshake that day (which I randomly do lol) then I just add 2 bags with some nut milk and honey and I'm satisfied. Rooibos herbal tea is much healthier than a milkshake from a restaurant so no guilt.

The smell might be a little too "strawberry syrup" for me, but once brewed the taste is amazing. Much more subtle than the dry smell would let on. At first, I could only taste strawberry, which was fine. But then the flavor started to evolve after my first swallow. I could swear I tasted whipped cream! And then sponge cake! My advice: Take a sip and then sit with the flavor for a moment. We ended up each having a second immediately after finishing our first! If you're a fan of the "Cuppa Cake" line, this is another win.

I was wary because of the hibiscus (which frankly can every tea company please stop using it in berry flavored teas, tends to make it too tart 😖) but if you steep less than it's a perfect strawberry cakey cup of yum! The second steep is where this tea really shined: I got the cookie dough and cake notes with a hint of berry in the background, so scrumptious! 💕 I highly recommend adding the milk/cream of your choice and sugar to make it extra dessert like!
