This is my wife’s favorite.
LOVE THIS TEA
Very tasty treat in a cup.
My niece got me a tin of this tea for Christmas last year just because the corgi on the label looks a bit like my corgi. I was happy enough just for the cool little tin it came in, but when I brewed up my first cup I was hooked immediately! Definitely my favorite herbal tea that ive tried so far
It’s a good tea, but I think I was hoping for a stronger “ginger snap” flavor. It’s just a bit short of that, but still a good tea.
This is a staple in our house. Everyone that I’ve introduced to this tea has loved it. We call it corgi tea and highly recommend it.
Love the rich flavor of this tea. I add milk and the tea holds up without tasting watered down. I like to have chai or something similar every afternoon. This tea has been added to my chai line up. So yummy! I hope it's always available.
This one is a bit underwhelming. The flavors aren’t very strong. The get throat aid tea has a much better flavor with the ginger coming through mire strongly.
This is a great tea any time of the day or any season. I have bought it several times.
Bridgerton Newton Ginger Biscuit Tea is part of my evening routine. It's mild with very delicate flavors. Sometimes I combine it with a cinnamon tea bag to give it an extra kick of flavor and aroma, but it's also good on its own.
Smells spicy delicious. Can taste the ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg, but I'm not getting biscuits. But, in the end, it's a yummy spicy cup.
First review I've ever written for tea, but this one is fantastic. Lovely smell, fabulous taste with just a hint of molasses flavor reminiscent of ginger cookies. I hope ROT makes this permanent. (BTW, have never seen Bridgerton.)
I love this so much I always buy at least 5 tins each time I order. I'm afraid it'll get discontinued, which would be tragic! Is there any way it could be renamed and added to your permanent collection, just like the Assam tea with ginger used to be the Grantham breakfast blend from the Downton Abbey line? Please!?!
This is my go to tea! It’s delicious and perfect! I’ve gone through 3 tins already and will buy more!
I absolutely love this tea. It's delicious with a little milk and honey...so rich and full of flavor ??
Cozy rich flavor.
If you want to have the feeling of eatting a biscuit without eatting a biscuit this is your tea. I've added real maple syrup instead of honey with this tea. Soooo good !! 10 out of 10
I agree with other reviews that say this tea smells better than it tastes. It absolutely smells like a fresh-baked gingersnap cookie. However, the taste is weak unless you use two tea sachets per cup. I have enjoyed it by steeping one sachet in 3/4 cup boiling water and then top it off with some hot milk. So while it could be better, I still enjoy it. It also makes me happy to see Newton's cute face on the canister. 4 stars
This is not a bad tea but out of the collection it is my least favorite. The tea has a stronger smell than it does taste.
Not my favorite. Smells better than it tastes. It’s not terrible. Just not quite what I was expecting based on the description. Does have a pleasant biscoff like after taste. I’ll have to try it with cream or sugar next time…
Amazing songs, you just need extra teabags to get the deep flavor to match the smell. Since these branded tea are more expensive and you get less tea, it's a bit of a shame to have to double up just to get a strong cup. Still, done right it's delicious!
I love this tea. It is like a warm ginger snap, and it has the most enticing aroma.
This tastes like a ginger biscuit. I know that's what it said on the tin, but they managed to really hit the nail on the head. It's a very sweet, I think from the natural brown butter toffee and speculoos flavors. It's my go to when I give a gift to people who enjoy tea. I hope they keep making it. I know that this is a licensed product, so if you are on the fence get it while you still can!
This is one of my top two favorites. The warmth of the ginger with the other biscuit flavors is delicious!
I must sadly agree with other reviewers who found the smell of this tea fantastic but the flavor unimpressive. It doesn't taste bad, just much less exciting than the smell - kind of watered down, as if the tea bag were being reused. If they made a tea that actually tastes the way this one smells, I would buy a truckload of it!
I love everything about this tea. It's my new afternoon "treat". I love it with a little honey and almond milk. I also love it as is, just the tea. So many delicious flavors. I would consider it "sweet" even without additional sweeteners just b/c of the flavor profile, very dessert-like. I love the packaging and cute little doggy portrait. It will probably repurpose the canister just b/c it's too cute and Newton's face makes me smile. Even though this is considered a limited edition, I hope they will consider keeping it. My favorite tea so far
It really does taste of a ginger biscuit a lovely and comforting cup.
This tea is both delicious and comforting. I look forward to enjoying a cup every night.
It's very yummy, I like it. Definitely very ginger BISCUIT rather than gingerBREAD. By that I mean there's a strong brown-sugar-toffee-and-buttery-ness to the flavor, which in my opinion is a tad too overpowering for my liking. But still very yummy. Just wish that toffee-buttery-ness wasn't QUITE so strong.
You can take one look at the ingredients list and see that there is a lot going on here. It's nice to see a flavored tea like this not just read "Organic red rooibos, natural flavors." The ginger and baking spices really make this taste like a gingerbread cookie. The dandelion root brightens things up. You can even taste those accents of toffee and Biscoff! This is already sweeter than usual RoT rooibos offerings, but do yourself a favor and add a tiny bit of honey or maple and a splash of milk for a wonderful evening cuppa.
This is so refreshing! I was a bit skeptical about how good it could be, but I was pleasantly wrong! It tastes like a hint of a ginger cookie. Not overpowering. Not spicy. It's light and refreshing vs biting into a heavy ginger snap.
This tea is great at the end of the day when I want something a little bit sweet. It's great with a little milk.
Love the packaging and the smell as well as the taste. A perfect blend.
I have always ordered the Gingerbread Tea....one of your Reps introduced this Biscuit Tea to me. She said if I liked the Gingerbread, I would love this one. She was right! Great Tea.
This is a sweet, light ginger tea - but not too heavy on the ginger. I really like ginger tea but having just the plain herbal variety gets boring. This is a fantastic option.
This has become my go-to tea when I'm in the mood for a cup of something cozy and caffeine free. I've never been a big fan of red rooibos, but this has made me a convert. Wish you sold it in bulk!
Love the wonderful flavor with the Brown Butter Toffee undertones & it's herbal, caffeine free.
Lovely and rich aroma and be sure to steep for 5-7 mins for full flavor. It's nutty and sweet - perfect after a meal.
It's a really nice gingery ginger cookie flavor but it's so faint, even with the suggested amount of water.
I like to drink this tea before bed.
I drink this when I'm craving something sweet and spicy. It is not my usual flavor profile but I do enjoy it when I'm in the right mood.
This is a very tasty tea, especially for folks like me who have to avoid caffeine but who crave teas that have a bit more body than the average herbal. This one has a tawny flavor that I find really satisfying.
Wow; just opening this tea tin leaves a potent scent of cookies in the air that can be smelled though the whole house! It has a rich, buttery, spiced-cookie flavour that is positively delightful!
This rooibos-based, caffeine-free tea is surprisingly smooth and complex. It is absolutely amazing when sweetened with Lemon Honey.
Good flavor but a bit bitter.
This tea hot with milk and maple syrup as a sweetener is a perfect accompaniment to shortbread and berries. The art on the tin makes this a visually pleasing gift. When gifted with a box of good shortbread, it is a delicious gift and treasure..
The Bridgetown Newton Ginger Biscuit Tea is scrumptious😋. I drink it with milk and anAfrican honey. I feel like I'm drinking warm ginger cookies. I haven't watched Bridgetown but I do like corgis This is my new favorite tea🤗
I got this tea around the holidays, and it makes such a comforting cuppa in the wintertime. It's caffeine-free, so I can enjoy cup after cup. The smell is wonderful, and it tastes like speculoos cookies. I would recommend steeping it for a full 7 minutes.
I was super excited for this tea. It smells absolutely delightful. And the taste isn't bad, it just doesn't taste as advertised. I taste coconut and if I close my eyes and try real hard I can get a hint of specs looks at the end. I do not taste toffee at all. I don't mind it and it makes a rather delicious coconut biscuit tea. I don't know that I'd buy it again, but I just might because I do enjoy coconut. To TRoT, maybe tweak, rename, and try again. It's not bad. It's actually quite good, just not what I expected.
I love the flavor and the fact that I can drink it in the evening.
I absolutely bought this tea for the Corgi tin. When I opened it up and inhaled the toffee cinnamon smell, I was hooked. This tea smells as good as it tastes. I am normally a strong coffee drinker and I like this tea the same way. Add a splash of cream & enjoy.
I bought this tea for the adorable artwork and cute corgi, but I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. It's so unexpected and delicious.
I was really disappointed in this one. The flavor is very muted and not very good. This is the first tea I have not liked from this company so I think it is more about my taste than the tea. I think it needs to be a little sweeter, something is missing.
I enjoy this tea! It's one of my favorites I've been sipping on lately. The ginger biscuit flavor comes to life, and it's not overpowering.
Took the canisters advice and warmed up my LF milk and added it to this tea. Wonderful!
I like the ginger taste but not the biscuit taste. probably will not order again.
I really enjoy the scent of this tea and the flavor is very tasty.
A very good tea, reminded me too much of your carrot cake tea however so I would probably purchase one or the other but not both.
Very tasty tea but it is almost exactly like the carrot cake tea which I already own, I would have saved a few dollars had I known...
You know when you're craving a shortbread cookie and a spot of tea? Well, all you need is this tea. It's perfect on its own. You don't really need sweetener, but it's my splurge for the day so a teaspoon of sugar makes it decadent. I also add milk of almond milk. My daughter and grandson said it was better than all my teas. Can't even imagine what it's like with a cookie. The smell alone is intoxicating. Was afraid it would be too vanilla-some of the dessert teas have a strong vanilla aftertaste; but this evokes caramel & biscoff for me. Perfect for the holidays or a treat to share with friends.
A nice, lighter tea, but there are many others here that I prefer. A cute idea for Bridgerton fans. I really love the rest of the Bridgerton line-up, especially the Honey Breakfast.
I was hoping for a little more from this tea, as I am a big ginger fan. This does have a wonderful aroma, but not the taste I was expecting. I prefer the Gingerbread Tea from ROT, but will finish the tin I purchased over this winter. It will be nice to sip on a hot cup after a brisk winter walk.
I bought this with the ginger in mind. It was really tasty. Great when you need something warming!
I couldn't resist buying a tea that tastes like ginger biscuits and I wasn't disappointed! I love the flavor. It's great with a bit of milk in it.
I was mixed on whether to try this new tea unfortunately not for me. Maybe trying to give a sense of biscuits really isn't a great idea for a tea. Wish I could have purchased a sample instead of a full tin :-(
I had expected a more intense favour like my memories of the biscuits that were a holiday standard.
I was hoping for a spiced tea that I could enjoy without sweetener. Unfortunately this fell flat. The aroma smells very spicy but the flavor is mild. I don't taste cinnamon, ginger nor nutmeg. I do get a hint of biscuit from the dandelion root but rooibos is the strongest flavor. It's not a bad tea, but I really wanted to taste ginger. I wouldn't recommend this based off the name Ginger Biscuit.
Originally got the tea for the Corgi on the front…but was surprised at how much I like the flavor of the ginger in this tea. Will reorder.
I LOVE this tea (and I love Newton) but as a collector I was extremely disappointed to see that my tin arrived dented in the front. The tea is good though.
This tea is excellent, especially for a lover of ginger. It is a unique bend of delicate flavors that we enjoy in the afternoons.
This Ginger Biscuit Tea is fragrant and yummy, and I love all the ingredients and that it's caffeine free. It's NOT gingerbread, and it's NOT ginger snaps. I'd say it's either a soft, frosted ginger cookie, or some kind of ginger spice cake with frosting on top. I think it would make a nice addition to the ROT "Cuppa Cake" line. It smells so good! And it's sweet and rich and buttery, with cake and cookie spices and flavors. I don't take the bag out; I leave it in, and then just throw it away when I'm finished with my cuppa. The tea also has a lovely mouth feel, and leaves that velvety sensation on the tongue that you get with Dandelion Root. With my first cup, I thought it was a little weak flavor-wise at first but then had a lovely finish, just perfect. On my second cup, it seemed just right from start to finish. I like my flavors strong, so I think the key was making it a short cup (less water) and then drinking it at the perfect temperature, when it was still hot but just right for sipping. I think this one will be great for the cold weather, both day and night. It's so cozy!
I was looking forward to tasting this after I read the description. The scent of the tea is AMAZING! I sweetened the hot tea with stevia and it is very good. I am now going to get some for my family as a gift. Highly recommend.
I don't know how The Republic of Tea did it, but they created a tea that actually tastes like a ginger cookie. Well done! This is a perfect calorie-free treat for anyone with a sweet-tooth!
I will say, this tea smells absolutely wonderful! I just wish the taste matched the aroma. I was hoping for more of a rich flavor with a pop of ginger like the Ginger Assam tea. Unfortunately this tea is very muted despite my son being able to smell it from the other side of our house when I opened the tin. If you a fan of mellow, muted flavors, then this team may be for you. If you like a more robust flavor, I would wait for the holiday teas that are sure to come out soon.
