This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars Appearance: This mug is very beautiful and detailed; the art is very accurate to Starry Night. I think they did a pretty good job 'wrapping' the painting on the side with the handle, or at least making the matching of the two sides of the painting unobtrusive Feel: Something that I really like is that the brushstrokes are actually just slightly raised. It's a very subtle texture, the mug is still mostly smooth, but it's just a very nice tactile feeling while I'm holding it. The rim is also nice and rounded, about how I usually like for sipping. The actual material feels nice and sturdy, and I haven't noticed any bubbles or lumps in the cup itself, which is quite nice. Functionality: I really like that it's dishwasher and microwave safe. It stays warm for a nice long while, and thankfully it also doesn't seem inclined to tip over like some other mugs I've had that are more tapered towards the bottom. It holds a lot of tea, about the size of two normal sized mugs, but works just as well half full. Just one thing to note; the top is much wider than a normal sized mug. I have a few lids from other teacups/mugs, and they want to fall into this one. My loose-leaf steeping basket is also a bit too small to fit on the rim by itself. Though they are somewhat unaesthetic solutions, using a butter knife propped up on the rim to hold the steeping basket up, and using a small plate or saucer as a lid is perfectly serviceable. Even with those quirks, I don't have a problem with this mug - it's one of my new favorites, and I've used it every day since I got it.
