At room temperature, some of the pastry flavors seemed more pronounced than when the tea is hot. I have also tried mixing it (over ice) with fruity teas that I have, and this works well too!

Both lovely, but very different things.) but this hit's the spot! It's got just enough sweetness and flavor to really it the spot when your looking for something slightly-sweet without having a full dessert. I usually put a teaspoon of sugar in and tea I drink, but this tea doesn't need it (but if you do, I don't think it's too sweet. I enjoy it either-way)

Wonderful raspberry fragrance, it makes a wonderful after-dinner or dessert tea. As with Republic's other pastry teas, it's best when served with just a touch of almond or oat milk and lightly sweetened. This one is also good iced, as it retains its sweetness and fragrance, which isn't always the case with flavored teas. Highly recommended!

This shopper rated the product 4 out of 5 stars I'll preface this by identifying the odd aftertaste mentioned by another reviewer: Monk fruit. I nearly called customer service for a refund when I figured out it was in there. I agree that RoT needs to leave out the monk fruit; just put a note on the tin that this tea must be sweetened in some way to get the full flavor profile! After drinking this tea several times, I've learned to ignore the flavor, and I'm carefully avoiding calling attention to it to my mother, who instantly enjoyed this tea. Once she notices the aftertaste, it'll ruin it for her picky, sensitive palette. The cream cheese pastry scent is amazing. We love that this tea does not have too much of anything: It's not too raspberry and therefore acidic, it's not too heavy handed with the cinnamon, and it doesn't have so much pastry flavor that it reads as artificial. It has a mild but complex flavor that's very satisfying once you learn to ignore the monk fruit aftertaste. It would've gotten 5 stars if not for the unwelcome addition. On a side note: If you made a perfume of this tea, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. It smells like a high end gourmand fragrance to me.
