This is a much more subtle flavor, but I actually kind of like that. I add some sweet cream coffee creamer to it for sweetness and creaminess in order to help me with my latte transition.

I followed the instructions to let it steep for 5-7 minutes for my first cup, but found it lack luster. This is one of those teas that tastes better the longer you let it steep. It's good with a splash of milk too!

There's very little color in the tea, so the 1% milk made it look like milky water. That was about what it tasted like, as well. The stevia sweetened it, and there was a hint of chocolate. That's it.

I think I was expecting more of a chocolate flavor, which it seemed to be lacking, but it was still good. It retains the red tea flavor, and is a bit smoky, so it's also best served with milk and a light sweetener. Not quite what I was expecting but I would order it again.

However, by and large, the taste of the brewed tea does not truly deliver on the promise. This tea has a wonderful aroma, but the flavor is not there. There are exceptions, those being the earthier and spicier selections, such as the Mushroom Chai. I have sadly had to seek other sources for teas that live up to their romantic descriptions.

Strong flavor despite a fairly mild-colored liquid. Also ignore the person who said it tasted artificial, they've obviously never tasted carob before. This tea is totally delicious, highly recommend. I'm really glad they didn't put rooibos in it, it would have ruined it (as it does with so many teas here).
