There was a slight issue with the coaster being slightly warped but as soon as Customer Service was notified, another was shipped out immediately. A great company to deal with; have been ordering from them for years.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I love the design of the mug... and have used the coaster several times. It does not hold 13 oz but it does hold just over 11 oz. I used a small scale to verify this. It stated "new" bone china. I had no clue what that was. Apparently, the rim is thicker than Fine bone china but it is still thinner than most mugs. That was ALMOST a deal breaker for me, as I only use a thin rim. However, I loved the design so much that I decided to overlook that "flaw." I do love the mug.

The wooden coaster adds stability to the mug which is great in my work area. If it also came with a lid it would be perfect, so I will happily use the silicone lids/covers that I purchased from Republic of tea. They are orange so the colors complement each other.
