I tried different brew times, sun tea, and varying amounts of milk. Nope: it's all jagged cinnamon candy without a hint of rose.

As a hot or warm tea, particularly with some raw sugar, it is absolutely unbeatable. I've used it to get me through a rough bout of tonsillitis and a later, rather mild case of COVID. Excellent flavor, aroma, and overall "warmth." Highly recommended but definitely not iced LOL.

I got my shipment and made a cup right away. It was very weak. So I added a 2nd bag. Made it stronger but the only flavor I could taste was the cinnamon. I wanted to love this and even like it but I just can't. I love ROT as the place I work sells alot of flavors and we routinely have for samples. I also buy alot of ROT. There was 1 flavor I did not like and now I have a 2nd flavor to add to the dislike.

I love that it doesn't have caffeine so I can still have a cup of chai in the evening. It's got a light yet slightly spicy flavor and just a touch of rose to it. I like to make it with just a tiny bit of sugar and some oat milk, which makes it almost a dessert. (If I dunk a Trader Joe's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dunker in it, then it absolutely is a dessert.) Please, let me buy an actual ton of this tea!

I've only had rose mixed with black tea and trusted republic of tea to have that nice balance of floral flavor without tasting soapy. I've steeped this a few different ways now to see if I could bring out more flavor. It's very weak and I'm guessing the slightly odd aftertaste is supposed to be rose but it's not very rosey.

In my opinion, it's a very weak chai with kind of a strange aftertaste. I tried so hard to sip and enjoy, but I just didn't care for it. If you love rose tea, you'll love this tea. If you're not too keen on rose, you won't like it because it is predominantly rose scented and flavored. It also tastes somewhat like chamomile, but there's no chamomile in it.
