Love in Bloom Green Tea
This sample was in a catalog that was sent to me. I love green tea and this combination was excellent. I will definitely buy this flavor and add this to my tea collection.
I received this as a free sample in my catalog. I really liked it from the moment I smelled the tea bag right up to the last drop. It is described as floral notes lingering sweetly and that's exactly how I would describe it. Very pleasant taste
Refreshing taste!
I'm not generally a green tea drinker. I got this as a sample, and here's what I think. The nose is not as floral as I expected, it's a little more fruity, like plummy, and a medicinal note which combine to make me think of purple Sweet Tarts. That flavor isn't as present in the taste, mostly a nice green tea flavor, but the candy comes back on the finish. This tea isn't bad, but it's not really my jam. Worth a try if you like fruity green tea.
I enjoyed the light floral note of this tea. I got this as a free sample, and I would definitely consider buying it next time I want green tea.
This is an incredibly well-balanced blend of floral and cherry flavors with green tea! I didn’t expect to care for it (because of the peony listed in the ingredients) but was pleasantly surprised! It reminds me of TROT’s Jerry Cherry flavored black tea, with just a tiny hint of floral notes. (I’m so glad to have been sent a sample of this - I doubt that I would have tried it otherwise, but I am so glad that I did!!)
I received a free sample with a purchase I had made. This is the best green tea blend that I have ever tasted. A smooth, delicious, and fragrant cup of tea, from the first sip to the last drop!
I Love Green Teas, They Are So Good For me. This Bridgerton green tea is delightful. I’m adding it to my auto ship with my other green teas. Try it for yourself if you like green tea.
Flavorful and subtle at the same time. Peonies who would have known they would make such a lovely ingredient for tea. Love the flower, love the tea.
The fusion of fruit and green tea creates a harmonious sip. An aftertaste of cherry mellows out the grassy undertones. Truly a perfect balance in chemistry!!
I received a sample of this tea with the latest Republic of Tea catalog, and I’m so glad. It’s a delicate tasting green tea - smooth and light. There is no heavy or overpowering aroma or taste, just a light, delicious green tea.
It was sweet and floral, as great afternoon tea.
I don't normally go for floral teas, but this was included as a free sample in my catalog. I ended up ordering 3 tins! It has a lovely delicate floral taste ans isn't overpowering.
My mother received this as a mailed sample and gave it to me. It is very smooth and smells incredible! A must try in my opinion.
Thank you for the sample. This is a delightfully smooth and floral cup!!! Love it!!! Now if TRoT will please make a cherry chai I'll never have to go to Starbucks again!
This tea surprised me. I love green tea, but don’t usually enjoy floral notes. This tea changed my mind. I am ordering some. Well done
I received this sample tea bag with my last catalog. I am picky about green tea, but I really liked this one. I needed to add a touch of sweetener and it was just right. I recommend it!
Thank you for the sample! Such a nice green tea! I love the smooth flavor Spot on
Thanks for the gift tea bag. I was surprised that I would like the taste. Mild and not bitter, you sold me. I'm ordering the Sophie Love in Bloom Green Tea
I guess it's the peony I'm tasting, and it's very refreshing. Delicious cup!
Received a sampler of Love In Bloom tea - absolutely delicious, but I am apparently sensitive/allergic to one or more of the components. This is not unusual for me, as I have had allergy/sensitivity problems all my life. I should have known when I saw the "pretty flowers" note. I am definitely sensitive/allergic to many flowers. The 3 stars are for the reaction I got, the taste is 5 star all the way!
This is a pleasant tea. Straight green tea is -- well, not my cup of tea. But the additional gentle floral notes in this tea is just right. I tried it plain, then added my usual sweetener that made it more like "Royal-tea." I still prefer my other favorite ROT flavors more, but this tea is one that many people will cozy up to. It is very aptly named -- congrats to the marketing team! I appreciate the samples for I would not have tried something new otherrwise.
I got a free sample in a catalog and was surprised at hose good it is! You can definitely taste the peony flavor, but it’s not so overpowering that it’s distasteful. I think I will be purchasing a full container in the future!
I liked this tea. It had a nice flavor.
I do not want to discourage others from trying this. If you tend to drink flavored teas, you will most likely enjoy this. Dry smell: sweet like candy Flavor: Artificial. Floral. A bit tannic. Slightly grassy. It would be better brewed cold. Wet Aroma: Cotton candy? Hmm, not quite.. Ah! Those hard candies you can find at German markets. That’s what the smell reminds me of. With a bit of cherry cough drop added…
I like the light floral flavor, and I like that it has Peony flowers in it.
Pleasing and delicate, and the floral is not overpowering. A lovely way to have a cup of green tea.
I am so happy to have received a free gift sample of this tea in the mail. I feel this is a VERY thoughtful gesture on behalf of The Republic of Tea company. I love the tea! The floral of the Peony is not overpowering and blends beautifully with the green tea. Thank you again!
I loved the flavor and fragrance of this tea. It has a strong green tea flavor, but is balanced with a nice floral flavor. It's great on it's own or with a dessert.
This green tea is delicious - very delicate and smooth. A little sweet, a little floral, and non-earthy, which I appreciate as someone who doesn’t enjoy most green teas. Thank you for the sample! You sold me on a can:-))
I got a test sample of this in the recent catalogue and am strongly considering buying a tin. It's very unique for a green, kinda floral but in a not overly saccharin way.
Surprised, this wasn't what my taste buds were expecting! Love this 1 new fav, hope they keep this 1 for me to order later on!
This fruity floral tea makes a delightful afternoon cuppa. Enjoyable hot or iced, this tea strikes an excellent balance between the green tea and floral flavors.
Full disclosure: I'm a creature of habit. I know what I like, and I tend to stick to it, venturing very rarely outside of my comfort zone. So when this showed up in the mailed catalogue, I was super-skeptical it'd be at all something that I would like. Well, I'm pleasantly surprised! This is a lovely green tea, lightly floral and a bit dessert-like in flavor to me, maybe like a light *barely*-vanilla cake with a hint of apple? It would probably be scrumptious with a shortbread cookie!
Received as a free sample and much enjoyed the smooth and mildly floral aroma. Was worried it would taste like air freshener, but nope. Thank you!
Very light floral green tea, not overwhelming. I don’t usually drink green tea, but this was delightful :)
I received this as a sample in the mail. I'm not a big fan of teas with flowers in them but I thought I would give it a try. It smelled very good and I was quite surprised when I took the first sip. I really enjoyed it. It is on the sweeter side as far as tea go but I thought the floral notes were done well and note very over powerings. I very much enjoyed it and plan to over a tin of it
This is a clean green tea with a simple floral fragrance. If you like simple floral teas, you'll probably like this one.
This was included in my catalog as a sample. It's sweet but not overbearing. I just ordered 2 tins! :)
What a pleasant surprise for a chilly winter day. Aromatic with a surprising pleasant flavor, neither too strong nor too light with no additions needed.
I was unsure about this tea sample I just got with my ROT catalog. I usually don't care for green tea, but this was very flavorful. It reminded me of a very "classic tea" flavor with doses of floral deliciousness. I bet it would be excellent iced, as well. I also appreciate that ROT has sent a recipe for this tea made into a Mocktail, which also sounds refreshing.
I received a sample of this with my last order. I had to order a full tin right away! It is lovely! Delightful sip by dip.
I received this as a sample and didn't think I would like it. I've just recently started drinking tea in the afternoon, I'm a huge coffee lover. So I'm not that elegant at describing tea, I just know I was pleasantly surprised immediately at the lovely aroma. We grow peony flowers so wasn't expecting that sweet, nice flavor. I did add local honey as I drink coffee with sugar so figure tea needs honey. Will buy this one.
Placed order for this tea after trying sample in catalog. Does not have any bitterness from the green tea. It is mild and pleasant tasting. Very enjoyable.
I usually lean toward black/chai teas. This was a free sample, so I tried it. So delicious and comforting. I put a tad bit of honey and a small dribble of half and half. I will buy this!
Never really liked green tea but this changed my mind! Light floral and no bitterness. Enjoyed with a tsp of honey...delicious on a cold morning. Pleasantly surprised!
Good, but the Republic has so many blends I enjoy more!
I received a free sample in the mail and really enjoyed the delicate fruity/flowery aroma and flavor so much so that I’m on the site to buy more, despite having a fully stocked tea supply.
Inhale as you bring the cup to your mouth. The floral smell transitions to a smooth mouth feel with first sip. Then once swallowed the hue of peony returns. Is there anything better? Best romantic sip and bathe ever!
I received a sample of this tea in the mail and was expecting not to like it since I have never liked green tea, but I loved it! The flavor is perfect on its own without any sweetener, and it doesn’t have the bitter taste I often encounter with green teas. I’m planning to buy a tin and see if it’s good iced as well.
I like floral teas and green teas in general. Thought I'd try this and so glad that I did. The cherry blossom aroma is very prominent with undertones of other flowers. The can says peony, sounds about right. After brewing, the flavor again is predominantly cherry blossom but with the green tea and the other florals, it becomes a lovely blend of floral tea. I'm loving it and will probably purchase some more before it's gone.
I got a sample of this from the catalog, thanks for the sample! My review: It's nice. The cherry/cherry blossom smell was really strong, so I thought it might taste too strong, but the flavour is actually gentle and in a good balance. It's a nice, well-rounded taste throughout the whole mouth with the cherry blossom and green tea. It's nice. (I rate all my teas out of 5 and this was a 3/5 for me = "good.")
I was skeptical as I do not typically like green tea by itself. I usually mix it with a back tea. But this tea I did like by its self. It has a light sweet floral flavor and has a fragrant soft flowery smell while drinking it, which is quite relaxing. Will definitely drink again.
I received a sample in the mail and find this tea soft and delightful. Nice green tea and a hint of peony. I was worried it would be too fragrant because strong flowering teas give me a headache, but this one is not!! I highly recommend.
We just got our catalogue today, opened up to the free sample to try immediately. I've never had peony blossoms in a tea before. The taste is a very light green tea, without bitterness, and a light overall scent and flavor of peony blossoms. I used fresh water, boiled to 200 degrees, and steeped for 3 minutes. I didn't need any additional sweetener, but I grew up drinking green tea straight as well. Paired well with a few lemon cookies as well!
