The Crown: The Queen's Afternoon Tea

The third season of The Crown sees a new guard sweep into Downing Street, as Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) and her family struggle to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing Britain.

From cold-war paranoia, through to the jet-set and the space age – the exuberance of the 1960s and the long hangover of the 1970s – Elizabeth and the Royals must adapt to a new, more liberated, but also more turbulent world.

The Queen's Afternoon Tea

A base of robust black tea is softened with the essence of honey. This tea blend supplies the fortitude needed for the Queen to execute her royal duties.

This tea is wonderful for an afternoon pick me up. It's lovely with a bit of honey or no sweetener at all. The vanilla notes really shine, however, with just a dash of the sweet stuff.

Love the show! Love the tea!

Obviously the branding for The Crown caught my eye. This seemed like a good flavor to try and discovered that is was very similar to the Downton Abbey Butlers Pantry blend that I had recently run out of and discovered was no longer available. I'm glad I was able to rediscover this tea again.

A little disappointing

I found the honey essence overpowered the tea for me. Just a bit too much for my taste.
