A superb, concentrated character, reminiscent of the depth and clarity of a fine Bordeaux. A touch of Formosan oolong adds a hint of smokiness to this sweet cup.

All Day Breakfast is comprised of of Keemun and its flavor is quite a bit different that all Black loose leaf teas that Republic Of Tea sells. It has a floral essence that lingers a bit when sipping it. If you've never tasted this tea before, brew your first pot a bit stronger, or steep the leaves longer to learn about its flavor. David K. I've always preferred a stronger breakfast type tea (British or Irish) but this tea really was a hit for me from the first cup I brewed. I just got my second order and am sure it will be a staple tea for me.

Good, but not for me

I always like to try a few new teas with each order, and this was one of them. Personally, I didn't care for the fruity aroma - it was a little too sweet smelling for me first thing in the morning. There is definitely a lot of smokiness in this particular tea, so if that's not your thing, you may want to give it a miss.

I'm a dyed in the wool black tea drinker, leaning toward mellow but malty Assam in the morning and the slightly sweeter Chinese varieties at tea time. The All-Day blend somehow manages to taste just right whenever I drink it. For the price, it's unbeatable if you like a full-bodied but not too acidic loose leaf tea.
