The deep rich flavor of roasted chicory enlivens this satisfying blend of premium black tea and green tea extract. An ideal clarifying tea for those times when the mind needs to wake up.

A Better Buzz -We've intensified the caffeine content of this black tea by adding green tea extract and pure caffeine isolated from premium tea leaves. Caffeine and L-Theanine (often credited with reducing stress) are natural components of tea providing a state of calm alertness we call Tea Mind®.

Breakfast Black HiCAF® Tea was featured on NBC Today Show as part of their "What's Hot in Health" segment.

I have successfully turned my work department into full-time tea drinkers and we had to order the basic black hi-caf tea after exhausting our pom-berry and coconut supply. Basic black hi-caff is good with almond milk or sugar/honey or a touch of vanilla.

One of my favorite teas, It gives me the extra jolt I like in the AM without having to drink coffee. I like mixing it with an Irish breakfast tea to give me a perfect AM cup.

The rich flavor tastes excellent with a little cream and sugar. The delicious flavor boosts my mood while waiting for the energy from the caffeine. I recently switched from coffee for stomach acid related issues, and find that I like it better than the gourmet coffee served at our office.

I have had this tea just about every morning for the past year. I was looking for a way to get all the benefits of my morning coffee (warm morning drink, caffeine) with none of the drawbacks (jitters, french press cleanup, all my thermoses get that old-coffee smell in them that’s impossible to get rid of) flavor-wise, this is a straighforward cup of black tea, low-tannin and mellow. it’s delightful with milk, heavenly with honey, and is just about impossible to over-steep. and if a caffeine rush is anything like removing the seeds from a dandelion, this tea is like the breath of a wishing child, where coffee is a hurricane— or a baseball bat. if you’re looking for a lowkey and lovely start to your day, pick up this tea.
