Fine, but not as much of a celebration as I expected

This is an unremarkable mild tea. The tea itself is not strong, nor are the flavors mentioned in the description. Nothing offensive, but nothing to celebrate.

Lovely mild flavor

Love this tea, it's rich, complex, and subtle. Marvelous aroma. Nothing overt nor cloying.

Just ok

Reading the reviews I have heard so many people complaining how strong and synthetic it is and overly floral, but to me the tea is actually rather bland. I got a nice unopened jar that expires in 2022, so it’s fresh. The smell is wonderful and the tea is very smooth no bitterness at all but I really don’t get all the hype. I use my usual heaping teaspoon per cup and it just doesn’t have much flavor. There is a slight floral and grape taste but makes me wonder what everyone else here is drinking because It isn’t what I have. It is an ok tea overall, nothing wrong with it just not the flavor bomb all the reviewers made it out to be.

The champagne of teas

I've always loved champagne, so I was very excited to order this tea. Opening the tin, the first thing you notice is how absolutely beautiful it is. The contrast of the black tea leaves, swirled in with stunning blue and white petals. Then you catch the intoxicating floral and fruity notes. But this is no ordinary fruit tea... It doesn't actually taste like grape. Rather, it's more of a clean, naturally sweet black tea with an incredible friuty/grapey finish. For me, 1 tbls of tea in an 800ml tetsubin (steeped about 5 minutes each) will make three full pots before it becomes too weak (for me anyway lol). This is a phenomenal tea (especially for the price!), and it's sweet and delicious by itself, or with milk or creamer added. I'm on my second tin, and I'm definitely hooked!
