I remember discovering Republic of Tea in college. I really loved the Vanilla Almond, Blackberry Sage, and Cinnamon Plum. I hadn't had any of the latter in a long time and something about it now send like it's changed over the years. It might just be me, but I remember this tea being more earthy and fuller bodied. This last batch was more floral and had stronger berry notes then the rich plum and spicy cinnamon flavors of the past. Although this is not one of my favorites anymore, thankfully there are several more that keep my cup filled with healthy and delicious tea!

This is like taking a bunch of cinnamon candies, putting them in hot water, and drinking it. That's all it tasted like to me. I was hoping for plum to be the star, with some cinnamon aftertones, but the plum is totally lost for me. So, great news if you love cinnamon and cinnamon candies! Bad news if your hoping for plum tea. Not re-purchasing. It was not what I expected at all!
