The aroma is so inviting and the taste is delicious! It's a big treat. Perhaps make it in decaf so I could drink it more often?

I had tried a sample of the "Downton Abbey Bates' tea" (different from the Bates' berry tea) but found their tea was discontinued, when I tried to order it. So I asked & was told by the Republic of Tea adviser the Cinnamon Plum was the closest. When you first open it, the strongest aroma is that of cinnamon, but once made, it is a much more evenly balanced set of flavors (including elderberry & sloeberry). It is a little like a "Russian tea" with nuances of cinnamon & clove and maybe a hint of citrus, but you taste the plum and the berries as well. The difference with the former Bates' tea is the lack of vanilla. i strongly advocate you try sweetening it with a French Vanilla (stevia). I did also find I preferred it with a touch of milk and it turns into a luscious sweet dessert = like a plum & berry pudding (but with almost calories). A GREAT option for diabetics - (who miss sugary desserts) or those giving them up to loose weight

Not the first time that I have ordered this tea and I'm sure that it will not be my last. There's just something about that warm, cinnamon-y fruity taste that I just have always loved. I actually drink it in the evening. My favorite.

I love the cinnamon spice in almost everything but with the plum and black tea, it’s over the top!
