I bought this at the recommendation of my sister in California. I'm generally not a fan of Earl Grey, but the estate blend which is Earl Grey with vanilla is very very good. It's my fav of all the teas from The Republic of Tea

I am an avid drinker of earl grey and my favorite is earl grey with orange bergamot. This Downton Abbey estate blend introduced me to earl grey with vanilla which is delicious. The vanilla mellows the bold black tea and makes for a very pleasant drinking experience. I loved the show and when I saw that the tea was an earl grey it made for a fun option with a nod to the show. I’m so glad I gave it a try. It has also become the gateway to me purchasing republic of tea through the website. I’ve already ordered a second tin of this tea to keep at work. I expect to expand my republic of tea options soon as the rewards program fills up fast and that makes the tea far more economical when I’m getting a free tin every few purchases.

I've already written a 17-thumbs up review of this particular blend, but I'm happy to convince all readers to try this marvelous flavor combination. I ordered more because I noticed the supply was running dangerously low and knew I wasn't drinking it (I do have other favorites). So I spoke to my daughter-in-law who, along with my son, recently moved in. SHE: It's the best tea EVER ME: I agree. We're running out. SHE: Noooo! Order ALL of it. I'll pay half. If we run out, I'm locking myself in the washing machine because mornings will be filled with despair and doom. So I ordered more, because we need the washing machine! Also, because I don't want the Minister in Charge of Tea Blends to stop manufacturing this masterly combo of Earl Grey and vanilla.

This tea has become my absolute favorite. Before this Cuppa Cake Caramel Vanilla was my favorite - still love it but Estate Blend is just sooo good. I love vanilla - here are some of the other teas I like - for comparison. Good Hope Vanilla, Comfort and Joy, Cuppa Cake Caramel Vanilla, Honey Ginseng, Downton Butlers Pantry Blend, and Peppermint Bark are all at the top of my ROT list... but Estate Blend wins!!
