I was expecting it to taste bitter, I'm not sure why. I used 6 oz of boiling water and steeped the 7 minutes. I did not use sugar. It was so pleasant to sip!! The aroma is just marvelous and the taste, well you get the cinnamon right away and then just a hint of the spice(pepper and cayenne) at the end. I am using this to try to boost my metabolism, but this just may be my go to tea to drink from now on!!

As far as a metabolism booster, I'm skeptical. But, this tea is delicious! It's not as spicy as I was expecting and the flavors all blend very nicely. This will be in my permanent rotation.
