(I purchased both of the Van Gogh sets and couldn't be happier) Functionally, what really sold me was the matching lid to keep my tea hot and the nice sized additional strainer. If you're looking for a way to make your tea consumption a bit more elegant, I'd recommend this in a heartbeat.
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I love this piece. Every time I drink from the beautiful Van Gogh mug I feel inspired to start my day off on a beautiful tone. The mug comes with a deep strainer that allows a good amount of loose leaf tea to seep. After my tea is done seeping the lid comes off and its a convenient side saucer to rest the tea and strainer. Then if I want more tea and overindulge with another cup of caffeine it's super easy to just add more hot water.

The Almond Blossom's are quite detailed and adds to the tea sipping experience in a visual way. It keeps the tea warm and is easy to clean. Definitely a mug to be treasured. In fact, I got one as a gift for a dear friend as well. Very classy and most elegant... a quality mug for sipping quality teas! A tealightful combo!
