Classic and Convenient
The long admired and sought-after Chatsford teapot is now available to Citizens of The Republic of Tea from our good friends at Upton Tea Imports. This ceramic teapot, with its classic British design, is made in the USA by The Homer Laughlin China Company in West Virginia. Formed by two brothers, Homer and Shakespeare Laughlin, in 1871 in Ohio, the company is best known for producing Fiestaware.
Fitted with a convenient tab for effortless removal, the large polypropylene and mesh infuser basket allows full infusion of the leaves. This standard 4-cup BPA-free strainer basket is included with every teapot. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
For steeping and serving tea; not intended for stovetop use.
Fully-vitrified ceramic
Rinse well in warm water after each use and wipe dry with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, sprinkle with baking soda, wipe with a damp cloth and rinse well.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars This is now my favorite tea pot! There are so many things that I appreciate about it. The infuser is perfect, no burned fingertips when I remove it after brewing. The basket has not stained in the multiple times I have used it. There is a notch for the infuser in the top of the teapot and the lid fits perfectly in its own notch. Also the lid is not hot when I remove it to get at the infuser. Did I tell you that I really like it? Well, I do!
