Steeping Darjeeling Tea is Easy
- Fill your kettle with fresh, filtered water and heat to just short of boiling (175˚F).
- Warm your teapot by swirling steamy water in it and then pour it out
- Place one teaspoon of tea leaves per 6 oz of water into your pot or infusing basket.
- Pour the heated water over the tea leaves and infuse for 2–4 minutes.
- Serve the tea. Avoid letting the leaves stew. Enjoy sip by sip.
- Add the used tea leaves to your garden. They make a healthy fertilizer for plants.
