Authentic 100% White Tea only grows in the majestic mountains of China's Fujian Province. Tender white downy buds are hand-plucked just two days of the year, right before the leaf opens. Steeping white tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to just short of boiling. Then pour 6 oz water per serving over tea and steep for 30-60 seconds (if using tea bags) or 2-3 minutes (if using full-leaf.)

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I have enjoyed all of RoT's jasmine teas. This one is special. And because you need to carefully brew its fragile leaves properly at a lower temp water and for less than 60 secoonds (to ward off bitterness), it is the perfect tea for those times when you are in a hurry. It is also perfect at the end of a meal, or as a stand alone when you crave a mid-afternoon treat. Adding a bit of sweetener enhances the floral elements. One of my faves with low caffeine!

Unfortunately, I usually pair it with an actual dessert, just to be sure. Neverthless, this tea is sweet enough that I don't actually NEED to eat the dessert. So, maybe my New Year's resolution will be to lay off the Christmas candies (I see you, fudge!) and just drink more tea!
