In
his thirty years at the helm of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia
both symbolized and transcended an entire era. Jerry approached
fine art with the same intensity as music. Between 1985 and
1995 he created close to 500 individual pieces. The Republic
of Tea is honored to pay tribute to this legendary artist
and his leagues of loyal fans. In the spirit of artistic creativity,
each tin of the J. GARCIA ARTISAN TEA COLLECTION features
an original piece of Jerry's work. These teas represent the
first in an art series of J. GARCIA ARTISAN TEAS. |

A portion of the proceeds from the sale
of J. Garcia Artisan Teas
are donated directly to DrawBridge, a non-profit organization
providing arts programs for homeless children.

The mission of DrawBridge is to provide
art programs for homeless children in an environment that
fosters their sense of childhood joy, creativity and exuberance.
Beyond that DrawBridge strives to promote well-being and
stability of family by creating a supportive community.
