This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars I am so happy that I knew that the negative reviews were just ignorance about tea. Many complained loudly that the Travel Tea Press doesn't go down completely leaving unavailable tea at the bottom of the cup. This is necessary in order to prevent squeezing the tea leaves which will cause the tea to taste bitter. This cup is lovely and I've been using it daily instead of my tea pot in order to cut down on making so much that I wast it. The bright orange color looks inviting. I enjoy the feel of the permanent cup sleeve in my hand. I think I need an extra one to take to my usual places in the event that someone decides it's steal worthy.

This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars Wish I had read the reviews of this before I purchased it. While I was really excited to get it, & it is “adequate,” it’s also disappointing. Like others, since the press doesn’t go all the way down, you loose some tea. I’ve been opening the top & moving the press, it that defeats the whole point. Also, I put sugar, & sometimes milk, depending on tea type, in my tea, & since you have to wait until the tea is brewed, again, I might as well just take out the bags or leaves manually before drinking. It’s a great idea - just needs some better design. Color is cheerful & the mug doesn’t taste “plasticy” which I thought it might; however, seems to cool off rapidly. Tea stayed hot about an hour…
