Sencha Kyoto Full-Leaf Loose Green Tea is grown in the Uji region which is famous for producing Japan's most exclusive green teas. This blend of first and second flush leaves resemble pine needles and steep into a clear, verdant green cup. The flavor is clean and robust with a vegetal top note. Perfect with savory foods.

Truly impressive matcha green teas and green full-leaf loose tea leaves contain antioxidants and rich flavor in every cup, derived from tea leaves that have been steamed, rolled, and then fired to perfection. Go ahead – steep a pot and savor the longtime treasure of China and Japan.
Green tea contains less than a quarter the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee. More about caffeine.
Steeping green tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water just short of boiling. Then pour 6 oz of water over tea and steep for 1-3 minutes (if using a tea bag) or 2-4 minutes (if using full-leaf tea.)
