Two staples of Asia, fire toasted rice and green Sencha tea leaves, are blended to produce this robust tea with the fresh flavor of grain. The result is a smooth, toasty cup which seems to satisfy the hunger as well as thirst. An ancient Japanese tradition.

Green tea contains less than a quarter the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee. More about caffeine.
Steeping green tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water just short of boiling. Then pour 6 oz of water over tea and steep for 1-3 minutes (if using a tea bag) or 2-4 minutes (if using full-leaf tea.)

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars This is my third or fourth rebuy of this tea. I just got 3 bags during the Black Friday sale. It has a lovely toasted/almost smoky flavor from the rice I believe. It’s an interesting flavor that I keep coming back to.
