Explorer's Rooibos Herb Tea
Explorers trekking to the remote mountains of South Africa were introduced to Rooibos, an herb the locals had been enjoying as red tea. The herb rooibos has been blended with a delicious mélange of other herbs and spices: orange peel, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom seed, anise seed, black pepper and cloves.
Our Ministers have scoured the world for the finest tea leaves and herbs in existence. The Republic of Tea masterfully blends these ingredients to offer great-tasting infusions.

Steeping red tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour 6 oz of water over tea and steep for 5-7 minutes if using a tea bag or full-leaf.

This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars This is surprisingly different from the Republic Chai black tea, it's very spicy and leaves a noticeable aftertaste. This one wasn't for me, but if you're looking for a caffeine-free tea with a strong kick it's worth trying out.
