2025 First Flush: Spring's Cup of Refreshment
We are excited to bring you this year’s first spring Darjeeling leaves from Jungpana Estate. First planted at the turn of the 20th century, the south-facing tea slopes of the Jungpana Estate are located in a remote area in Darjeeling near Kurseong, a misty land of rolling hills at 3,000 to 5,500 feet.

From the small Jungpana Estate, this first flush tea displays bold leaves laced with delicate silver tips. This lively golden cup features herbaceous notes of spring flowers, complemented by a refreshing hint of citrus zest and a lingering touch of pineapple sweetness in the crisp finish. Plucking date: March 20, 2025.

We have air-freighted this hand-plucked Darjeeling to ensure the freshest cup possible. Regarded as the ultimate tea experience, only limited quantities are available. Enjoy sip by sip.

Steeping Instructions

Fill your kettle with fresh, filtered water and heat to just short of boiling (195° F). Warm your teapot by swirling steamy water in it and then pour it out. Place one teaspoon of tea leaves per 6 oz of water into your pot or infusing basket. Pour the heated water over the tea leaves and infuse for 2-3 minutes. Serve the tea. Avoid letting the leaves stew. Enjoy sip by sip. Add the used tea leaves to your garden. They make a healthy fertilizer for plants.
