It grows on you
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

Wasn't sure when I took the first sip. But after that, it's a very flavorful full body robust tea. And I really enjoy it. I drink my teas in English tea cups, but it felt off drinking this in one. The flavors are very grown up and almost like enjoying a good scotch or something. So I bought a handleless Japanese tea cup for this tea. It's a full experience to enjoy, especially in the evening.

Elegant, Cozy, and Perfect with Milk
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

All Day Earl Grey® Whiskey Vanilla Fig Black Tea is pure comfort in a cup. The bergamot is smooth and mellow, layered with warm vanilla and that subtle whiskey note that feels rich but not overpowering. Add a splash of milk and it transforms into something that tastes exactly like a fig newton cookie — soft, slightly jammy, and bakery-sweet without being sugary. It’s indulgent but still refined. Absolutely lovely for a slow morning or a quiet afternoon.

Strong whiskey fig black tea
This shopper rated the product 4 out of 5 stars

Here is my review that I wrote in my tea diary: "The whiskey taste is extremely strong. Followed by caramel or I guess "smoked caramel" as it says. If I focus, I get some vanilla and fig. Then bergamot. It's definitely all there, but the whiskey is definitely the strongest. At first I found the smokey whiskey taste was too strong for me, but it is calming down as it cools and the fig is really coming out. It is a good tea. [My husband] really likes it. He says he really gets fig. We both agree we wish the "whiskey, vanilla, fig" were subtler with the Earl Grey more of a focus, but it's quite good. From 3 to 4 for me. [Husband] says 4 and if those three flavours were subtler, it would be a 5. (I rate all my teas out of 5 and this was a 4/5 for me = "great.")

Not my favorite

Fig overpower the Earl Gray, vanilla & whiskey. Not horrible, but definitely won't purchase again

Better with milk and sugar
This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars

It was sharp and too heavy on the fig and smoke flavor when I tried it straight. It was actually good when I added milk and sugar on a second cup. It's novel, but not something I would drink all the time.
