Small batches work great
This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars

I am enjoying this product and am on the third bag now. I see the reviews complaining it makes too much, but I just cut the portions down and make it in small batches.

mushy
This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars

I had a hard time making these boba. I made the first batch in the pressure cooker and they were too soft, then I made them on the stove top and they were still too mushy. I really wanted to like them. They would have made a better tapioca pudding…

Beware of Time Consuming Prep / Short Time to Use
This shopper rated the product 2 out of 5 stars

Quite Disappointed. Once again, I made a purchase from Republic of Tea, and I suppose I will either give it away (not the intention for it to be a gift) or never get to use it. DEFINITELY READ ALL of the description of this item before you purchase! First, of all, these boba will take you over an hour to prepare to be ready to use; and it's a fairly attention demanding prep (stir frequently). The preparation supplied is for the WHOLE bag, which is listed to be 12 servings. Further, once prepared, you have 3 (maybe 4 ?) to use ALL of the boba. I never expected to be drinking 12 boba teas in 3 or 4 days, so this is very impractical for a single person to consume. (I do realize I can share it, and this would make use of the product, but again, this isn't as easy as it sounds! People that I know are quite divided on boba tea appreciation, and it's a shame to force it on those who don't care for it. I don't have 12 people handy who would love this as I would to share it with within 3 or 4 days.) Nevertheless, I pursued looking for other options for preparations of lesser amounts of the boba so that I might find a single serving prep or maybe up to a three serving prep - only to come up with this product is steeped in a controversy over cultural appropriation. (Otherwise, I did not find any guidance for making smaller quantities - I do realize that I can mathematically calculate ratios to prepare lesser quantities, but I was hoping that there might have been some posts/instructions, so it's not just an experimental attempt on my part). So, here I am, and I can only question myself, why did I even buy this? So, if you are considering buying this, please be aware of what you are taking on here with a purchase. Good Luck! Just Ok, not great
This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars

I think this boba is ok, but not as firm as I would have liked, and is not the very solid black boba. I did, however, love the packaging which seems to be left over from tea bads.

This tea is a puzzle to me.
This shopper rated the product 1 out of 5 stars

This tea confuses me. I am an old-school tapioca pudding, person, and this tea Blurs the tea/pudding concepts.. I'm not sur what I'm supposed to be experiencing or enjoying. This was served to me by a niece and I am unsure as to what it's supposed to taste like or how it's supposed to make me feel.
