Ginger Peach Cranberry Cooler
Thirst-quenching and delightful, this surprising recipe is sure to gently cool you down on a sweltering day. Peach provides a delightful fragrance and a subtle sweetness. Ginger gives a hint of spice, and cranberry ties it all together with a refreshing tartness.
Ingredients
Serves 2
1 cup freshly boiled filtered water
1 pint fresh or sparkling water
½ cup unsweetened cranberry juice
Sweetener to taste
Instructions
Place the tea bag in a teapot, add the boiled water, and cover with a lid to preserve the aromatic oils. Let the mixture steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on how brisk you prefer the final product. Remove tea bag.
If desired, stir in your sweetener of choice. while the tea is still warm.
Once tea has cooled and sugar dissolved (if used), pour the tea into a pitcher and mix with 1 pint cold water. Add cranberry juice.
You can either refrigerate the pitcher for a few hours or add ice cubes and serve immediately.
Pour the iced tea into glasses and serve with slices of lemon.
Refreshing Ginger Peach Latte Smoothie
A frothy, light drink for you to enjoy. Peaches and cream dance together in your cup, enlivened by ginger and vanilla. Rich in flavor and antioxidants, it’s the perfect choice for a light but luxurious evening treat.
Ingredients
Serves 2
1 ripe peach, cored and sliced
2 ¾ cups boiling filtered water
Non-dairy vanilla creamer
Stevia/sweetener to taste
Note: Special equipment: blender
Instructions
Place the peach slices in a cup and cover with boiling water. (Do not skip this step! Lightly infusing the peach is necessary to soften the fruit, otherwise the overall texture of your drink will be grainy.)
In a separate tea pot or cup, steep Ginger Peach Green Tea for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
Combine the tea and the peach infusion. Pour into a high-speed blender, add sweetener.
Add ice cubes.
Blend on high speed for 30 seconds.
Serve immediately.
Cool Cucumber Ginger Peach Refresher
Cool yourself down with summer’s best and freshest ingredients. Make sure to use fresh mint and basil, as dried herbs will weigh down the sparkling nature of this drink.
Ingredients
Serves 4
1.5-2 quarts filtered water, divided
4-6 torn mint leaves
4-6 torn basil leaves
1 small cucumber, sliced into rounds
1 cup frozen peaches and/or strawberries
Juice of one lemon
Stevia/sugar to sweeten to taste
Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
Pour 6 ounces of freshly boiled water over tea bags. Steep 5-7 minutes, depending on your preference. Discard tea bags.
Place mint and basil leaves, sliced cucumber, frozen fruit and lemon juice into a large pitcher. Add cold water and sweetener.
When tea has cooled, add it to the pitcher and mix well. Add ice if desired or cool in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
Serve iced tea in tall glasses, garnished with lemon and mint leaves.
Peach Fuzz Mock Bubble Tea
For a truly unique take on this month’s mocktails, how about a textured drink?
We made our Peach Fuzz beverage with chia seeds instead of tapioca bubbles for higher nutrition content.
This drink packs a real punch of health benefits*: polyphenols and antioxidants from our superior quality tea leaves, as well as superstar hydration, omega fatty acids, fiber and protein from chia seeds. All wrapped up in a tall glass of amazing flavor. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1 Ginger Peach White or Green Tea bag
1 cup freshly boiled filtered water
3 cups cold filtered water
1 ripe peach, cored and sliced
1 Tbsp chia seeds
Sweetener to taste
Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
Pour 1 cup hot water over tea bag and let steep for 5 minutes. Add sweetener to taste. Let cool completely.
When tea is cool, add cold water and lemon juice. Add the chia seeds and give the mixture a brisk stir, so the seeds don’t clump together. Stir with a spoon every few minutes while the seeds are expanding.
In about 3-5 minutes, add peach.
Transfer the drink to the fridge and let sit for at least 2 hours.
Pour into a tall glass, garnish with a slice of lemon and enjoy!
