Calm After The Storm Tea
From the volcanic island of Jeju in South Korea comes this organic Woojeon green tea, also known as “Sparrow's Tongue” due to its tightly curved appearance. The young tea leaves are hand-plucked just after the spring rainy season subsides, yielding a nutty aroma and a toasty, savory flavor when steeped.
Full-Leaf Green Tea
Truly impressive matcha green teas and green full-leaf loose tea leaves contain antioxidants and rich flavor in every cup, derived from tea leaves that have been steamed, rolled, and then fired to perfection. Go ahead – steep a pot and savor the longtime treasure of China and Japan.

Steeping green tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water just short of boiling. Then pour 6 oz of water over tea and steep for 1-3 minutes (if using a tea bag) or 2-4 minutes (if using full-leaf tea.)

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars This green tea leans savory rather than floral, the flavor is full of nutty, umami and almost briny notes. It’s very unique. Korean tea is extremely hard to find for sale here in the US, and being organic too! This tea is pricier than others for good reason. Thank you Republic of Tea for offering this, I will be a repeat customer.

This shopper rated the product 5 out of 5 stars Just wow! I used to drink this tea quite a bit, and then forgot about it. Now that I've rediscovered it, I'm in love. It's full-bodied, tastes amazing, strong and I prefer it over all the other varieties. I wish they carried it in bulk.

I love it and even though I have a ridiculous tea collection I find myself rarely reaching for any other green tea. I've found 89°C/ 192°F to be a sweet spot, but it's good at any temp. I also love that I don't need a strainer, I just put a pinch in my cup and it sinks to the bottom, and doesn't get bitter. Just the best! I think I'm on my fifth tin since discovering it two years ago. Yes it's expensive but I get so many cups out of a tin that I think it actually comes out cheaper than anything else I get from ROT on a per-cup cost.
