Galangal root or "Thai Ginger" is a common ingredient in Thai soups and curries. It is very similar to common ginger but has a slight lemony flavor and floral aroma. We have added lemongrass to accentuate the citrus for a sweet finish. Like ginger, galangal has been used for thousands of years in Asia to help with digestion, nausea and upset stomachs.*

Steeping herbal tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour 6 oz of water over the tea bag and steep for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot or let cool and pour over ice.

This shopper rated the product 3 out of 5 stars I was expecting something more punchy - more of a ginger and lemongrass flavor/experience, and find this tea very mild in flavor against those expectations. I do, however, enjoy the tea and will continue to enjoy each cup. I'm not sure I'd repeat this purchase but we'll see - I'm only 3 cups in so far and sometimes a tea grows on me cup by cup.
