How to Use a Teapot
Teapots can easily be confused with tea kettles, but it’s important to know which one you have before trying to make tea with it. A teapot is not able to heat water to boiling like tea kettles can. The sudden change in temperature can cause your teapot to crack, or worse, break altogether.
To make tea using a teapot, you’ll need to heat water in a separate container. This can be done by boiling water in a pot on the stove. Once the water is hot, you’ll add this water to the teapot and steep the tea of your choosing.

Teapots can be very delicate, so it is important to be aware of how to care for your new teapot. To properly care for your teapot, you should rinse it with hot water after each use. Be sure to avoid using soap, and ensure it is completely dry before storing to prevent water spots.
