Steeping Instructions

Hot Matcha Preparation:
1. Fill the kettle with fresh, filtered water and heat to just short of boiling.
2. Fill a bowl or cup with warm water and pour out.
3. Add 2 teaspoons of matcha to a bowl or cup. Add 6-8 oz of steaming (170°F) filtered water. Experiment to find your favored strength.
4. Using a whisk, fork or a hand frother, blend for one to two minutes until well blended.

Iced Matcha Preparation:
1. Fill the kettle with fresh, filtered water and heat to just short of boiling.
2. Add 2 teaspoons of matcha to a bowl or cup. Add 1 oz of steaming (170°F) filtered water.
3. Using a whisk, fork or a hand frother, blend for one to two minutes until well blended.
4. Add 5-7 oz of filtered water and pour over ice.

Matcha Latte Preparation:
Prepare as above but add 5-7 oz steamed milk for a hot latte or 5-7 oz cold milk for an iced latte.
